A recommended course of session includes 4 and a1/2 hour of intensive program for a month (20 working days). This program should be repeated 2-3 times each year with the goal in mind to continually improve the child’s range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, overall ability and function.
THERASUIT SESSION
Polfit
Inc. uses the Therasuit Method to provide suit session for qualified patients.
Therasuit Method, originated in Eastern Europe, is an extremely effective method of
providing elastic resistance to muscles and tendons while correcting
biomechanics of the upper and lower extremities.
Repetitive intensive exercises with these corrections enforce positive
neuro-muscular re-education needs for each individual child. The Therasuit
allows the child to strengthen their postural muscles restoring milestone
development.
SPIDER WEB SESSION
Spider Web Sessions requires uniquely trained trainers. Spider Web
Sessions allow the biomechanics of the body to be corrected, while the child is
suspended in the desired position, allowing them to exercise with various
equipments. Trainers use belts, bungee cords and straps providing
resistance to each targeted muscle.
UGUL
SESSION
Intensive exercises using the Universal Exercise Unit, also known as, the
UGUL Cage allows various strengthening exercises for affected muscles,
stretching and range of motion. It also allows heat and cold therapy application
before or after certain exercises.
